Motus Aftermarket Parts is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented General Worker to join the Wadeville branch. The role primarily involves warehouse duties, such as stock handling, binning, picking, packing, checking, and maintaining a clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Binning

Organize and place incoming merchandise into the correct bin locations.
Ensure the proper replenishment of stock from bulk areas to pick locations as per company standards.
Allocate new products with accurate bin location numbers and report updates.
Assist with inventory replenishment processes.
Receive and check incoming goods in line with company procedures.

Picking

Pick customer and branch orders on time to meet order deadlines.
Pick bulk orders only when necessary to avoid breaking pack sizes.
Follow all work instructions and procedures to ensure efficient customer satisfaction.
Participate in stock-taking activities as required.
Double-check orders to maintain high levels of accuracy and prevent inventory loss.
Consistently achieve set operational targets.

Issue scanners to warehouse operators daily.
Track scanner use through the electronic app, ensuring scanners are booked in and out.
Inspect scanners for damage upon return and report any issues to the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

Grade 12 (or equivalent in literacy and numeracy).
Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferable).
Knowledge of spares, motor, and engine parts as well as warehouse systems and procedures.
