If you’ve got Matric with Maths, a relevant diploma, and 2–3 years of warehouse experience, this could be your golden ticket into a fast-paced, rewarding work environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who understands warehouse processes and wants to play a key role in managing inventory, controlling stock, and improving supply chain efficiency. It’s a contract position, but one that offers hands-on experience at a global company trusted by millions.

What’s This Job All About?

The Warehouse Controller is the go-to person responsible for keeping track of inventory, making sure stock moves smoothly from one point to another, and keeping everything safe, organized, and recorded properly. Your job is to make sure that raw materials, semi-finished goods, and finished products are handled, stored, and dispatched the right way—and on time.

You’ll work closely with Co-Manufacturers, Factory Warehouse teams, and Planners to make sure production doesn’t stop and that customers get what they need, when they need it.

What You’ll Do Daily

Here’s a simple breakdown of what your workday might look like:

1. Logistics & Dispatch

  • Organize and manage transport for stock movement.
  • Make sure all deliveries from sending plants are completed on time.

2. Stock Management

  • Receive and process raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
  • Handle all stock paperwork, such as PODs, OBDs, and COAs.
  • Check stock levels with monthly stock counts and keep everything accurate.
  • Maintain master data on SAP systems.
  • Handle defective or expired stock correctly.
  • Keep an eye on pallets – both Nestlé’s and third-party ones.

3. Admin & SAP

  • Create and manage OBDs on SAP.
  • Make sure all milk received is updated in SAP on time.
  • Track and record butterfat and skim data.
  • Capture data for Co-Manufacturers who don’t use SAP.

4. Safety & Compliance

  • Run SAP health checks to make sure everything’s working right.
  • Make sure the Co-Packing site follows all quality rules.
  • Promote safety at all times by following Nestlé’s 12 Life Saving Rules and other site safety procedures.

Do You Qualify?

To get this job, here’s what you’ll need:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate with Maths.
  • A 2–3-year full-time diploma in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Logistics, or Operations.
  • 2–3 years of experience in materials handling within a warehouse environment.

Bonus Skills That Can Boost Your Application:

  • Experience in dispatching to customers and distribution centres.
  • Experience receiving raw materials like liquid bulk or packaging.
  • Good knowledge of SAP—being a superuser is even better.
  • Hands-on experience in inter-factory supplies and Co-Packer management.
  • Familiarity with safety, health, and environmental standards (SHEQ).
  • Intermediate computer skills: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Leadership roles like SHE Representative or Food Safety Rep are a plus.
  • Understanding how the full supply chain process works from end to end.
