Looking to work in nature and get your hands dirty while making a real impact? Agulhas National Park is hiring 3 General Workers on a 3-year fixed-term contract (until March 2028)! 📍 Location: Agulhas National Park, Western Cape

💰 Salary Range: R136,583.09 – R182,758.24 per annum

🔍 Who Should Apply?

📜 Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12 (Matric) or NCV Level 4 Certificate
Experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or similar work is a plus
Physically fit – able to lift, bend, and stand for long periods
Basic maintenance & storeroom skills
Great attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety
Self-motivated, disciplined, and reliable
Willing to work weekends and public holidays
Basic OHS knowledge required
First Aid training and a driver’s licence are advantages

🛠️ Your Responsibilities

You’ll work directly under the Duty Manager and your job will include:

Cleaning: fireplaces, braais, ablutions, office buildings, tourist accommodations, and public areas
General maintenance: of buildings, roads, water systems, etc.
Groundskeeping: mowing lawns, trimming plants, maintaining gardens
Vehicle & equipment care: washing, storing, basic tool maintenance
Reporting: logging and communicating maintenance issues
Performing ad-hoc tasks and assisting the team where needed
Following Health & Safety protocols at all times
