What You’ll Be Doing as a News24 Production Journalist

Your main role will be to make sure the content published on News24 is top-quality, accurate, and ready for readers across the country. You’ll work with editors, writers, and the technical team to keep the site updated through the night. Your job will include:

• Creating and editing online-ready news content with images and graphics
• Monitoring breaking news from local and international sources
• Rewriting and reshaping content to match the News24 style
• Moderating and managing reader comments on stories
• Running live news blogs when major events happen
• Sending out newsletters when needed
• Managing the main News24 site content flow when the editor is not available
• Being ready to work weekends, holidays, and late-night hours

What You Need to Qualify
