About the Job – Sales Assistant

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll be the face of Old Khaki in the store. Your role will focus on helping customers find what they need, giving style advice, keeping the store looking its best, and meeting sales targets. You will work closely with the store team to ensure customers leave with a smile and a reason to return.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Exceed customer expectations by using proven selling techniques
Follow stock loss prevention measures to protect store inventory
Meet your individual sales targets consistently
Increase sales by spotting opportunities to boost turnover
Maintain a clean, organized store and uphold visual merchandising standards
Create an inspiring shopping environment where customers enjoy spending time

At least 6 months of retail experience
Matric or equivalent qualification
A clear criminal record

Knowledge of current clothing trends and/or an outdoor lifestyle, depending on the store’s focus
