Internship Overview – What to Expect

You’ll be part of the Human Resources team and gain real working experience over a 9 to 12-month internship. This role is designed to build your practical HR skills, boost your confidence, and help you understand how a major retail business manages its people.

Some key areas you may gain exposure to include:

  • HR administration and employee documentation
  • Recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Employee relations and HR policy application
  • Training coordination and talent development
  • Payroll support and HR systems

You’ll work closely with professionals in a real retail HR department and get insights you simply won’t find in textbooks.


Minimum Requirements – Do You Qualify?

To apply, make sure you meet the following criteria:

  • You must have a completed degree in Human Resource Management
  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be between the ages of 18 and 32
  • Computer literate – MS Office, Google Suite, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work independently and stay motivated
  • Positive attitude and a clear desire to learn
  • Reliable transport to get to and from work
  • A valid driver’s license is a bonus (not required)
