🚛 Job Title: Code 14 Driver (Tautliner Trailer)

Location: Gauteng
Pay: R79 per hour
Position Type: Full-Time

✅ What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Phakisa Holdings driver, your job is more than just getting from A to B. You’ll be trusted to transport goods safely, communicate with the team, and take care of your vehicle. Here’s what your typical day will look like:

• Drive a Code 14 truck with a Tautliner trailer safely and responsibly
• Pick up and deliver goods to various locations
• Load and unload the truck (sometimes by hand)
• Do daily inspections before and after each trip
• Report any issues with the truck or trailer
• Keep accurate records – like delivery slips, logbooks, and inspection checklists
• Make sure the load is secure before hitting the road
• Always follow traffic rules and company safety policies
• Let the team know if there are any delays, issues, or route changes
• Provide friendly service when dealing with customers or clients

📋 Job Requirements:

You’ll need to meet the following requirements to apply:

• Valid Code 14 Driver’s License (EC license or similar)
• Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit)
• At least 5 years of driving experience using Code 14 trucks
• Experience working with Tautliner trailers
• Good understanding of loading and offloading goods
• Matric or Grade 12 certificate
• Clean track record – no history of reckless driving or major accidents
• Good health and fitness (this job can be physical!)
• Excellent time management and independence
• Strong communication skills – you’ll be in touch with the team regularly
• A responsible and reliable attitude
