As a General Worker/Assistant, you will be part of an essential team that keeps construction sites running smoothly. Your role involves manual labor, site maintenance, material handling, and supporting skilled workers. This job requires physical strength, teamwork, and a strong focus on safety.
✔ Clean up and prepare construction sites before, during, and after work.
✔ Remove debris and keep the area safe and organized.
✔ Maintain cleanliness of workspaces, tools, and common areas.
✔ Load, unload, and transport construction materials and tools.
✔ Store materials properly to ensure they are easy to access.
✔ Handle materials carefully to prevent damage.
✔ Help welders, carpenters, electricians, and plumbers with tools and materials.
✔ Assist in tasks like mixing concrete, setting up scaffolding, and lifting heavy objects.
✔ Support the installation of structures under supervision.
✔ Wear proper safety gear: helmets, gloves, boots, and high-visibility vests.
✔ Follow all safety protocols and report hazards immediately.
✔ Help maintain safety barriers, signs, and protective measures.
✔ Operate basic construction tools and machinery (training provided).
✔ Keep tools and equipment clean and in good condition.
✔ Assist with assembling and disassembling scaffolding and temporary structures.
✔ Work closely with supervisors and teammates to complete tasks efficiently.
✔ Help set up temporary site facilities like rest areas or offices.
✔ Perform simple administrative tasks like taking inventory or logging equipment usage.
