Pick n Pay Opens 2025 Student Program! Learnerships Closing in 2 Days

Pick n Pay Invites Suitably Qualified Applicants to Apply for Their Student Learnership Programme (Limited Posts). The Closing Date for Applications is 28 June 2025.

If you’re a young South African graduate looking to kickstart your career, Pick n Pay is giving you the opportunity of a lifetime. With only 2 days left to apply, now’s your moment to join one of South Africa’s top retail brands through its 2025 Student Programme.

This 12-month learnership is based in Johannesburg at the Eastport Distribution Centre and in the Western Cape at the Philippi Distribution Centre. It’s open to graduates with a National Diploma in Information Technology or Logistics/Supply Chain, especially those who performed well in their Project Management modules.

Working at Pick n Pay isn’t just about getting a job — it’s about growing your future in a place where people care about what they do. So, if you’re focused, driven, and ready to make the most of an incredible learning experience, this is your chance.

What You Need to Qualify

To apply, make sure you have:

  • A completed National Diploma in either:
    • Information Technology, or
    • Logistics / Supply Chain, with strong results in Project Management.
  • Strong communication skills — both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • A serious drive to learn, grow, and make a difference.

Pick n Pay is looking for individuals who are not just smart, but motivated and ready to push themselves. They want learners who will bring energy and a positive attitude to their teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

This isn’t just a course — it’s a hands-on, real-world experience in one of South Africa’s largest and most advanced distribution networks. You’ll be working directly with experienced professionals, and you’ll learn:

  • How to think like a professional — applying both knowledge and common sense.
  • How to work effectively in real workplace situations.
  • How to use your technical skills (IT or Logistics) in ways that matter.
  • What it means to show leadership, even as a learner.
  • The values and culture that make Pick n Pay a trusted household name.

This learnership is more than just training — it’s your way in. Many of Pick n Pay’s full-time employees started through programs like this one.

Why Choose a Pick n Pay Student Programme?

Because you want real experience, not just theory.

Because you want to grow fast in a company that sees your potential.

Because you’re ready to become a leader, and this is your first step.

Pick n Pay’s learnerships are specially designed to build future leaders. They help you gain real-world skills, sharpen your thinking, and expose you to different parts of the business. You’ll work hard — but you’ll also be supported every step of the way.

Where You’ll Be Based

Depending on your location and preference, you’ll be placed at one of two Distribution Centres:

  1. Eastport Distribution Centre – Johannesburg
  2. Philippi Distribution Centre – Western Cape

Each centre is a fast-moving environment where goods flow in and out across South Africa. You’ll see first-hand how large-scale logistics works, and be a part of the team that keeps Pick n Pay stores running smoothly.

Don’t Miss the Deadline!

This opportunity is closing fast — applications shut on 28 June 2025.

So if you’ve finished your National Diploma in IT or Logistics, and you’re hungry to learn and grow — apply today. A better future might be just one click away.

Final Words

Pick n Pay’s 2025 Student Programme isn’t just another learnership. It’s a door to your future, offered by a company that believes in the power of young talent. Don’t wait and let the deadline pass — take charge of your future now.
