What Will You Be Doing as a Sales Assistant?

As a Sales Assistant at Poetry, your main job is to make sure every customer has an amazing experience in-store. You’ll help them find stylish, high-quality products, offer advice, and make them feel welcome. Here’s what you’ll do on the job:

• Use customer service skills to help shoppers and make them feel valued.
• Keep the store neat, clean, and looking great to help boost sales.
• Stay alert and follow steps to prevent any product loss or theft.

• Process payments quickly and correctly – this includes cash, cards, vouchers, and more.
• Check that every item leaving the store has been scanned and paid for.

• Build good relationships with shoppers and give them friendly, honest advice.
• Tell the manager about any compliments or complaints from customers.
• Solve any customer problems or product questions quickly and politely.
