✅ Minimum Requirements

To qualify, you must:

  • Be a South African citizen aged 18–35 years.
  • Have Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
  • Hold a completed 3-year qualification (Bachelor’s degree, National Diploma, or Honours) in one of the following:
    • Commerce / Accounting
    • Information Technology
    • Clinical Medical Associate
    • BCur Nursing (Bachelor of Nursing Science)
  • Be fluent in English (other local languages are a bonus).
  • Be unemployed and not enrolled in any other internship or learnership.
  • Be computer literate, organised, and able to manage your time well.
  • Show a professional image and willingness to learn under pressure.

💼 What You’ll Be Doing

During the internship, you’ll be placed across various departments within PPSHA and receive exposure to real tasks that affect daily operations in healthcare and medical aid. Here’s what you’ll experience:

Real Industry Exposure:

  • Handling medical aid claims, correspondence, and member subscriptions.
  • Working with teams on clinical admin, underwriting, and new applications.
  • Participating in both formative and summative assessments as part of your training.
