What Will You Be Doing in This Job?

As a Personal Assistant in the Asset Management division, your daily job will include:

Managing Communication

  • Handle telephone calls professionally.
  • Receive and screen emails and other written communication.
  • Make sure messages are delivered and responded to on time.

Organizing the Office

  • Keep track of appointments and meetings.
  • Set up meetings and send reminders to the right people.
  • Take minutes in meetings and follow up on action items.

Handling Documents

  • Type letters, memos, and official documents accurately.
  • Organize files and keep important records safe and easy to find.
  • Make sure everything is neat, labeled, and in order.

Helping with Travel and Events

  • Arrange transport and accommodation when the team travels.
  • Help plan official events or visits related to Asset Management.
  • Keep track of travel claims and expense reports.

Keeping Things Running Smoothly

  • Order office supplies when needed.
  • Make sure equipment like printers and phones are working.
  • Be the go-to person for small daily office problems.

What Are the Requirements?

To apply for this job, you must meet the basic requirements below:

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent qualification).

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience as a personal assistant, secretary, or administrator in a government or corporate office setting.

  • Excellent writing and speaking skills (especially in English).
