What This Job Is About

As a General Worker at QPRO Feeds, your role will be to support daily operations in the yard, intake areas, and production environment. You will help make sure everything runs smoothly, from receiving raw materials to dispatching finished products.

This job requires someone who is active, responsible, and able to work well with others. You will also need to follow safety and hygiene rules carefully.


Your Main Duties and Responsibilities

In this role, you will be involved in different tasks that help keep operations running efficiently.

Biosecurity and Hygiene

  • Cleaning loading scales and intake areas every morning
  • Making sure hygiene and biosecurity rules are followed
  • Working safely when dealing with drivers and documents

Documentation Handling

  • Collecting delivery documents from truck drivers
  • Taking documents to the dispatch office
  • Giving finished goods documents and samples to drivers
  • Moving paperwork between departments like production and the lab

Traffic and Yard Coordination

  • Guiding trucks on where and when to offload
  • Informing the lab team when trucks arrive for sampling
  • Monitoring truck movement around the yard
  • Making sure all intake procedures are followed

Operational Support

  • Checking intake pits and bunkers for blockages
  • Assisting with moving equipment like the tipper car when needed
  • Supporting supervisors with daily tasks

These responsibilities are important for keeping the business running without delays.


What You Need to Apply

  • Matric (Grade 12)
  • At least 2 years of experience in an agricultural environment
