As a Retail Shop Assistant at Rage SA, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily store operations while delivering exceptional customer service. 📌 Job Responsibilities

👗 Customer Service & Sales

✔️ Welcome customers and provide friendly assistance.
✔️ Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products.
✔️ Help customers open new accounts and complete forms.
✔️ Process customer refunds professionally and efficiently.
✔️ Answer customer phone inquiries and provide helpful responses.

🛍️ Store Operations & Inventory Management

✔️ Monitor customer activities to prevent shoplifting.
✔️ Receive, check, and unpack stock while ensuring all paperwork is correct.
✔️ Assist the Store Manager with weekly stock counts.
✔️ Keep stock levels balanced and minimize losses.
✔️ Ensure stockroom organization meets company standards.

🎨 Visual Merchandising & Housekeeping

✔️ Maintain window displays according to brand standards.
✔️ Assist in processing markdowns, recalls, and promotions.
✔️ Keep the store clean, neat, and organized at all times.
✔️ Ensure fire exits and escape routes remain unobstructed.

📊 Performance & Growth

✔️ Help the Store Manager achieve monthly sales targets.
✔️ Actively participate in training sessions to improve skills.
✔️ Work as part of a team to create a positive shopping experience for customers.

✅ Job Requirements

To qualify for this role, you must have:

✔️ Matric (Grade 12) qualification
✔️ Retail sales experience (preferred but not required)
✔️ Ability to stand for long hours
✔️ Ability to use Point of Sale (POS) systems and pricing equipment
✔️ Strong organizational and communication skills
✔️ Detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills
✔️ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
