📌 Job Responsibilities

As a Warehouse General Assistant, your daily tasks will include:

🏗️ Equipment Handling & Maintenance

• Keep the warehouse yard and all equipment clean and organized.
• Safely store all equipment in designated areas.
• Remove third-party equipment from the warehouse and prepare it for return.
• Inspect all equipment before and after use to ensure it’s in good condition.
• Ensure the security and safety of company equipment at all times.

📦 Inventory Management & Logistics

• Accurately count and track warehouse equipment daily.
• Ensure all required equipment is available to prevent work delays.
• Follow instructions from Operations Management to meet productivity goals.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and flatbed carts to transport goods.
• Organize items properly to avoid damage and improve warehouse efficiency.

🛠️ Safety & Warehouse Organization

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all health and safety protocols to prevent workplace injuries.
• Assist with sorting, stacking, and organizing warehouse stock.
• Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned by Operations Management.

✅ Job Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must have:

✔️ Matric (Grade 12)
✔️ Experience in a similar role (General Assistant, General Clerk, or General Worker)
✔️ English proficiency (ability to read and follow instructions)
✔️ Clear criminal record
✔️ Live within 25km of the warehouse location

🔹 Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Beneficial)

While not mandatory, having these skills will make you a stronger candidate:

🔸 South African citizenship
🔸 Experience working with power tools and heavy machinery
🔸 Prior use of forklifts, pallet jacks, or similar equipment
