🛠️ Key Responsibilities

As a General Worker at RCL Foods, your daily duties will include:

🛒 Merchandising & Customer Service

• Unloading stock from delivery trucks and organizing it as per the Outlet Controller’s instructions.
• Ensuring shelves are fully stocked, neatly arranged, and priced correctly.
• Checking product shelf life and ensuring that expired products are removed.
• Rotating stock properly using the First In, First Out (FIFO) method.
• Informing customers about store specials, promotions, and prices.
• Removing damaged stock from shelves and reporting it to the Outlet Controller.
• Assisting customers with their inquiries and ensuring they have a smooth shopping experience.
• Helping with pulling stock for staff account orders on delivery days.

💰 Cashier Duties

• Processing sales transactions quickly and accurately.
• Managing and reconciling cash at the end of the day.
• Ensuring excellent customer service to increase sales.
• Handling transactions between the Farm Shop, traders, and customers.
• Recording daily totals on the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Conducting daily cash reconciliations and reporting any discrepancies.
• Using a Bank Note Scanning Machine to detect counterfeit money.

👥 Customer Engagement & Sales

• Proactively informing customers about promotions and product details.
• Encouraging customers to take advantage of discounts and special deals.
• Gathering feedback from traders and customers to improve services.

📦 Stock Management & Inventory Control

• Assisting with the monthly stock take to ensure accurate inventory records.
• Reporting any stock count discrepancies to the Outlet Controller.
• Providing insights into customer demand trends and product preferences.

🧼 Housekeeping & Store Maintenance

• Keeping the store clean and well-maintained at all times.
• Monitoring freezer temperature levels and reporting any issues.
• Helping to implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce costs.
