Role Purpose:
- to assist the production team in meeting operational needs by adhering to relevant work standards and procedures.
Knowledge and Competence:
- Matric or equivalent literacy and numeric level.
- suitably conditioned to engage in manual labor.
- A license to operate a forklift will be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- making sure the right materials are accessible to continue production.
- Keep track of and report any violations from the specified raw material standards. Visual inspections guarantee proper housekeeping in the assigned area. Metrics Adhere to and take action on things within the area of responsibility in compliance with ISO Standards.
- placing supplies in the appropriate bins and being aware of the feed ingredients.
- Help with any additional reasonable responsibilities that management assigns.

General Worker – Artisan Assistant
Role Purpose:
- To provide general assistance to maintenance Artisans
Required Qualifications:
- Grade 12 or equivalent literacy and numeric level or N3
Required Experience:
- Previous experience in a production environment, minimum of 3 months
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Basic Computer Literacy
- Physically fit – able to carry 50kg bags
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic hand tools experience
- Shift work and overtime
Key responsibilities of the role:
- Do daily line inspections and give feedback.
- Timeous reaction to breakdowns.
- Do mechanical maintenance.
- Factory lighting.
- Assist artisan overhauling and assembling equipment.
- Adhere to safety rules and regulations.
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required by Mill operations and/or designated by Mill Management.
