✅ Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Consultant at The Bedstore, you will have a variety of responsibilities, including:

💼 Sales Maximization:

✔ Achieve sales targets by engaging with customers and offering tailored solutions

🤝 Customer Service:

✔ Assist customers in finding the perfect products
✔ Provide excellent customer service at all times
✔ Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally

📝 Administration & Stock Control:

✔ Keep the showroom presentable and well-organized
✔ Perform basic admin tasks and follow company policies
✔ Stock shelves and assist with inventory control
✔ Ensure that products are correctly tagged with prices

💳 Payments & Security:

✔ Process cash and card payments
✔ Monitor store security and stay alert for theft and fraudulent activity

🔄 Other Tasks:

✔ Keep the store clean and tidy – sweeping, mopping, and organizing
✔ Help with stock deliveries and ensure proper storage
✔ Keep up with promotions and ensure displays are updated

✅ What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

✔ Matric (Grade 12)
✔ Sales qualification is a plus
✔ 2-3 years retail sales experience
✔ Computer literate

Skills & Attributes:

✔ Excellent customer communication skills
✔ Attention to detail and good time management
✔ Ability to handle conflict and work under pressure
✔ Friendly, motivated, and calm demeanor
✔ Physically fit – able to stand for long periods and lift stock
✔ Comfortable working with the public
✔ Ability to work well within a team
