Who Can Apply? – Minimum Requirements

For Engineering Learnerships:

You need to have:

• Grade 12 with:
  • Pure Maths (at least 40%)
  • Physical Science (at least 40%)
  • Technical Drawing (at least 40%)
  • Relevant Trade Theory (at least 40%)
    OR
• An N2 qualification in Engineering with four related subjects

Plus:

• You must be fit enough to get a valid Medical Fitness Certificate

For the Mining Learnership:

You need to have:

• Grade 10 or an equivalent qualification
  OR
• AET Level 4 with FLC (Foundational Learning Competence)
• English and Maths with at least 40%
• A valid Medical Fitness Certificate is also required
