The South African National Parks (SANParks) is inviting suitably qualified young South Africans to apply for its Graduate Internship Programme 2025–2027. This programme is tailored for graduates who have completed their N6 Certificate at a TVET College or Higher Education Institution (HEI) and are ready to gain hands-on work experience.

There are multiple positions available, and the closing date for applications is 28 August 2025. Successful candidates will receive a monthly stipend of R3,728.90, helping them build their careers while earning an income.

Why This Internship is a Golden Opportunity

Breaking into the job market can be tough, especially for graduates with only academic knowledge and little workplace experience. That’s why SANParks created this internship programme—to give graduates the chance to put theory into practice while working in a professional environment.

This opportunity runs until 31 March 2027, offering long-term exposure that helps interns develop workplace readiness and gain practical skills that employers are looking for.

By joining SANParks, interns also become part of one of South Africa’s most respected organisations, known for its work in conservation, heritage management, and environmental protection. Even though the focus of this programme is administration and business-related fields, your role indirectly supports the protection of the country’s natural treasures.

To qualify, you must hold an N6 Certificate in one of the following areas:

  • Financial Management
