Minimum Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• NQF Level 7 qualification in Conservation Management, Natural Resource Management, or a related field
• Valid Code 08 driver’s licence
• PDP will be an added advantage
• At least 5 years of experience in conservation management or as a field ranger
• Minimum of 3 years supervising field ranger teams
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication and project management skills
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work flexible and irregular hours
• Good physical fitness
• Knowledge of the PFMA Act
• Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans
• EMI Grade 2 designation or the ability to obtain it within the required period
