About the Sasol Tanker Driver Learnership 2025

The Sasol Tanker Driver Learnership 2025 is a 12-month training programme designed to prepare women to become professional Fuel Distribution Officers (Tanker Drivers).

This learnership includes two main parts:

1. Theoretical Learning (NQF Level 3)
   • You will learn the core knowledge and theory needed to safely operate tankers and handle dangerous goods.
   • This stage prepares you for the responsibilities you will have in the workplace.
2. Practical Training
   • You will gain hands-on experience by working directly with experienced drivers and Sasol teams.
   • During this phase, you will apply what you’ve learned in real-life work situations.

Throughout the programme, Sasol will assist you in obtaining the necessary qualifications, including:

• Code 14 Driver’s License
• Professional Driving Permit (PrDP)
• Dangerous Goods Certification

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for the Sasol Tanker Driver Learnership, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Matric or Grade 12 certificate
• A valid Code 10 Driver’s License
• A valid Code 14 Driver’s License (advantageous but not compulsory)
• No prior work experience is needed – this is an entry-level opportunity
• Willingness to take responsibility for your own learning and development
• Ability to communicate well in both verbal and written form
• Able to follow instructions carefully and accurately
• Preference will be given to candidates who live in the Alberton area
