About the Job

The Servest Security Division is looking for a committed Grade B Security Officer to join their operations team along the West Coast. This role requires someone who is alert, confident, and able to handle responsibility in various security-related situations. The position is contract-based and will require you to work independently at a designated site.

Key Areas:

As a Grade B Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment and ensuring that all assigned security posts are managed effectively. Your main duties will include:

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections to make sure all security measures are in place and functioning correctly.
• Respond to incidents, alarm activations, and panic calls quickly and professionally.
• Ensure that security posts are always manned and that officers are fulfilling their duties.
• Maintain a strong visible presence to prevent unauthorized activities.
• Report any suspicious behavior, safety issues, or security breaches immediately.
• Uphold Servest’s standards of service and represent the brand with pride and professionalism.

Minimum Requirements

To qualify for this role, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must reside in the West Coast area, specifically in Saldanha Bay, Langebaan, or Vredenburg.
• Must have a clear criminal record.
• Must have all certifications and documents updated — not older than 3 months.
• Be ready to present all required documents on the day of your interview.

• Certified copy of your Grade B PSIRA Certificate.
• SARS tax number confirmation.
