What the Cleaner Will Be Responsible For

Workplace Cleaning and Housekeeping

The Cleaner will perform tasks such as:

  • Following and sticking to a cleaning schedule

  • Completing cleaning rosters and activity logs
  • Cleaning and disinfecting sinks, desks, floors, mirrors, toilets, and other surfaces
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping as needed

  • Emptying bins regularly and moving refuse bags to central collection points
  • Keeping carpets, rugs, and upholstered items clean using vacuum equipment
  • Washing walls, windows, woodwork, panels, and other surfaces

Maintaining Cleaning Equipment

The role also includes responsibility for cleaning tools and machines. The Cleaner must:

    • Cleaning tools like dusters and cloths
  • Reporting shortages in advance to supervisors
