The People Delivery Assistant will work closely with Divisional and Regional People Partners, supporting the HR function with admin tasks, reporting, organising HR-related activities, and ensuring smooth service delivery across the division. This is an ideal role for someone passionate about people, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in Human Resources.
Key Duties
Your responsibilities will include:
- Maintaining employee databases and assisting with HR documentation
- Providing clerical and administrative support
- Filing and updating HR records for audit and reference
- Compiling training attendance registers and management reports
- Completing weekly reports and audits
- Assisting with HR queries including leave, pay, benefits, headcount, and other employee matters
- Ordering and distributing uniforms and PPE
- Coordinating events such as long service celebrations, appreciation meals, training, and peak season activities
- Supporting employee engagement initiatives
- Performing additional HR tasks when required
Requirements to Apply
Qualifications (Essential)
- Degree or Diploma in HR Management, Industrial Psychology, or an equivalent qualification
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in an HR Assistant or HR administrative role
- Experience across HR service delivery and employee lifecycle processes
Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of HR policies, practices, and legislation
- Good computer skills, including MS Office and communication tools
- High attention to detail
- Strong planning, organising, and time management abilities
- Effective administrative and people support skills
