What You’ll Be Doing as Butchery Manager

You will run the day-to-day operations of the Meat Market, keeping a close eye on stock levels and budgets. Managing staff and making sure they perform well is important, as is maintaining high-quality standards and hygiene. You’ll also help promote products in ways that add value for customers. Your goal is to keep customers happy by providing excellent service and fresh, well-managed meat products.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Meat Market team effectively.
Ensure customers are fully satisfied with products and service.
Plan and control stock and product availability.
Oversee all quality control standards for products.
Handle administrative duties for smooth operation.
Manage hygiene and safety procedures to keep the workplace safe and clean.
Support the team with extra tasks as needed.

What You Need to Qualify

Grade 12 or NQF Level 4 certificate.
Blockman qualification at NQF Level 3.
Proven management experience.
Experience in the meat industry.
Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules for meat markets.
Understanding of different meat cuts and products.
Basic first aid knowledge is a plus.
