Job Title: General Worker – Butchery (SPAR)

The General Worker – Butchery role is focused on supporting the butchery team to make sure meat is prepared, cut, packed, and displayed correctly. You will work with other staff members to ensure customers get clean, fresh and well-prepared products every day.

Minimum Requirements (What You Need to Qualify)

Experience Requirement

  • At least 3+ months experience as a butcher (or working in a butchery environment)

Physical Requirements

  • You must be physically fit

Hygiene & Safety Knowledge

  • Understanding of food safety rules

Cutting and Preparing Meat

You must be able to assist with or perform butchery duties such as:

Customer Service in the Butchery
