What Will You Do as a Store Assistant?

As a Permanent Store Assistant, your job is all about making customers feel great while keeping the store running smoothly. You’ll work directly with customers and make sure everything from cash handling to stock organization is on point.

Daily Responsibilities:

Cash Handling:
- Run the cash register without mistakes
- Handle daily cash-ups and banking
- Make sure all payments (manual or card) are processed accurately
Stock Management:
- Keep the stockroom neat and organized
- Pair shoes correctly and update displays
- Take part in weekly stock counts
- Process customer orders carefully and on time
Customer Service:
- Welcome customers with a smile and offer professional advice
- Help customers find what fits their needs and style
- Share your product knowledge and styling tips
- Be enthusiastic, polite, and professional at all times

Do You Have What It Takes?

Matric / Grade 12 certificate (must-have)
At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail (fashion or luxury retail experience is a bonus)
A true passion for fashion and customer service
Great with numbers and paying attention to small details
Can work under pressure and meet deadlines
A team player who enjoys working with others
Friendly and confident — someone who enjoys talking to people and helping them
