What You’ll Be Doing as a Store Assistant

As a Permanent Store Assistant, you’ll be one of the main faces customers see when they walk into the store. Your job is very important because you help make shopping feel special. You’ll do things like:

💼 Cash & Payments

• Work at the cash register with full accuracy
• Make sure the money is counted correctly every day
• Handle different types of payments quickly and correctly

📦 Stock & Store Organization

• Help unpack, sort, and organize new stock
• Make sure everything is neat and in the right place
• Check store stock weekly so nothing goes missing
• Match shoe pairs to keep displays perfect

🛍 Customer Service

• Talk to customers and help them find what they need
• Share product knowledge to help people choose better
• Give style advice that makes shoppers feel confident
• Keep a happy, helpful attitude at all times

What You Need to Apply

You don’t need a fancy degree, just:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• At least 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail (bonus if it’s fashion)
• Passion for fashion, shoes, and people
