Your Role as a General Worker

As a General Worker at VKB Retail, you’ll be doing important hands-on work to keep the workplace clean, organized, and ready for customers and suppliers. You’ll assist with stock handling, loading and offloading goods, and general cleaning and housekeeping duties.

You don’t need fancy skills or degrees — just a strong work ethic and the willingness to help wherever needed.

What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Your main duties will include:

Loading and offloading stock for customers or suppliers
Keeping the store and surrounding area clean and tidy
Helping with stock control and general tidiness
Supporting the team with customer service whenever needed
Doing ad hoc (random) tasks when asked by the manager

You’ll be on your feet and moving around a lot, so this job is great for people who enjoy being active and productive.

What You Need to Apply

To qualify for this position, you must have:

Grade 12 / Matric certificate (or NQF Level 4)
Be able to do physical, manual labour
Good communication and people skills
Be helpful, neat, and have a positive attitude
Be in good health and always willing to work as part of a team
