Job Purpose

The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in all areas of the retail facility, including offices, customer areas, kitchens, and restrooms. Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Cleaner at Sun Bet, your daily responsibilities will include:

Ensuring all equipment and areas are clean, sanitized, and in good working order.

Monitoring chemical levels and keeping cleaning inventory in check.
Setting up tea stations and storing crockery properly.
Cleaning soiled equipment and recording any breakages.
Following strict health, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards.
Reporting or resolving any maintenance issues promptly.
Greeting clients warmly and providing respectful, professional service at all times.
Assisting with customer complaints or requests, escalating when necessary.
Completing day-end tasks, such as dishwasher maintenance.

Job Requirements

To qualify for this Cleaner role at Sun Bet, candidates must meet the following requirements:

Education

Grade 12 preferred, or
Grade 10 with at least 2 years of relevant cleaning experience.

Experience

Prior exposure to office, facilities, or retail environments will be an advantage.
