What is the Job About?

As an Online Shopping Assistant, your main job is to help customers. Whether it’s through phone, email, or live chat, you’ll be solving problems and answering questions. You’ll need to be polite, quick, and helpful—no matter how busy the day gets.

You’ll be working under the Customer Service Team Leader and using different tools on the computer to get the job done. Sometimes you’ll talk to other departments in the company to make sure the customer gets the best answer. At the end of the day, your goal is to make every customer happy.

  • Help customers with questions or problems in a professional and friendly way.
  • Listen carefully to find out what the customer needs and come up with a smart solution.
  • Chat with customers using phone calls, emails, or instant messages.
  • Use computer tools to find and fix issues.
  • Work with different teams inside the company to solve customer problems.
  • Always try your best to give the customer a great experience.

Do You Qualify?

  • A Grade 12 certificate (Matric) or something higher.
  • At least 6 to 12 months of experience in customer service.
  • You must speak and write English well.
  • You should know how to use the internet, email, and chat tools.
  • You must be okay working shifts – that includes weekends, holidays, and even night shifts.
