TotalEnergies Offers Learnership Programme for 2026

TotalEnergies Marketing South Africa is giving young people across the country a fantastic chance to gain real work experience through its Lubricant Manufacturing Plant Learnership Programme. This 12-month opportunity is designed especially for unemployed youth who want to develop their skills and learn in a high-tech manufacturing environment based in Durban – Wharfsides and Causeway Road (ZAF).

What This Learnership Is All About

This programme lets learners get hands-on experience at TotalEnergies’ Lubricant Manufacturing Plant. You will learn everything about how lubricants are produced, how processes are controlled, and how the technical side operates. These are important skills if you want a career in energy or manufacturing.

During the year, learners take part in many parts of the factory work such as quality checks, monitoring processes, safety rules, and managing logistics. This mix of theory and real-life training means you will finish the program ready to work in the manufacturing world with confidence.

Who Can Apply? The Basic Requirements

To get this opportunity, you need to meet some basic criteria:

  • Have a National Senior Certificate (Matric)
    OR
  • Have an NTC4 qualification in Engineering. This could be Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience is not needed because this programme is made for unemployed youth looking to start their career.

If you have a TVET qualification in Supply Chain Management or Logistics Management, that is an extra plus and will give you an advantage.

Make sure to include these when you apply:

  • An updated CV with your education and personal details clearly listed.
  • Certified copies of your qualifications, which should be no older than three months.
