What Will You Be Doing?

As a Sales Assistant, you’ll have a bunch of exciting responsibilities, including:

Talking to customers and helping them choose the right product
Letting them know about special deals or promotions
Keeping the shop clean and tidy
Making sure everything is in the right place
Working with the store manager and your team
Helping the store reach its monthly sales goals
Sorting out any problems or complaints from customers
Taking and placing orders using the call centre
Keeping records of what’s been sold and what customers have asked for
Visiting nearby stores to promote and sell products
Reporting back on your sales and customer interactions

You’ll also need to use your smartphone for work purposes, so make sure you have at least 10GB of space on your device.

What You’ll Need to Apply

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have:

A Matric certificate (Grade 12)
A working smartphone with enough space
A clear criminal record
Be able to speak and understand English
Live within 15km of the job location
At least 6 months of sales experience will be a big plus

It also helps if you know how to use a computer, especially Microsoft Office, and if you’ve worked in customer service or marketing before.
