Toyota invites motivated and ambitious young individuals to apply for their exciting Apprenticeship Programme in Millwright, Auto Electrician, and Fitter & Turner trades. A total of 3 disciplines are available. The closing date for applications is 18 April 2025.

What Is the Toyota Apprenticeship Programme?

This is a 4-year training programme where you’ll learn real skills in a real workshop. You’ll be trained in one of three special trades:

⚙️ Millwright
🔌 Auto Electrician
🛠️ Fitter & Turner

During this time, you’ll work and earn as an hourly-paid employee, gaining knowledge that could lead to full-time job offers depending on vacancies after the programme ends. Even though a permanent job is not guaranteed, the experience and training you get here will prepare you for many career paths in the technical field.

Who Can Apply?

To be part of this programme, you’ll need to have a Technical Matric or NTC3 qualification, depending on the trade you choose.

📌 For Millwright:

NTC3 with Electrical or Mechanical Trade Theory
Maths (Pure Maths) and Engineering Science
Technical Drawing or Graphic Design
Workshop experience in electrical or mechanical work is a big plus!

📌 For Auto Electrician:

NTC3 with Auto Electrical Trade Theory
Pure Maths and Engineering Science
Technical Drawing or Graphic Design
Hands-on workshop experience is helpful but not required

📌 For Fitter & Turner:

NTC3 with Mechanical Trade Theory
Pure Maths and Engineering Science
Technical Drawing or Graphic Design
Workshop experience in mechanics gives you an edge

If you don’t have experience yet, don’t worry – as long as you meet the study requirements, you’re still encouraged to apply.
