🎯 Job Purpose:

As a General Worker at Transnet Freight Rail, your role will involve helping electrical, maintenance, and construction teams with their daily tasks. Your main goal will be to ensure all work is done efficiently and safely while assisting in construction and maintenance projects.

🏆 Who Can Apply?

✅ Minimum Grade 9 (No Matric Required!)
✅ At least 6 months of relevant experience (not compulsory but preferred)
✅ Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

Your daily tasks will include:

✅ Assisting the Supervisor or Team Leader with various duties
✅ Being punctual and professional at all times
✅ Loading and unloading materials
✅ Cleaning work areas (removing weeds, stacking materials, sweeping floors, disposing of rubble, etc.)
✅ Using hand tools safely and correctly
✅ Keeping tools clean and in good condition
