The General Worker Nightshift Loader plays a very important role in the smooth running of the business. This position focuses mainly on loading and offloading cargo during night hours. This helps make sure that deliveries move quickly and efficiently while the city sleeps.
As a nightshift loader, your main job is to support the entire logistics process by handling cargo correctly and keeping the workspace clean and safe.
This is a hands-on job that requires energy, focus, and strong responsibility.
If you get this job, your daily tasks will include the following:
You will be responsible for loading and offloading goods from linehaul trucks. These trucks travel long distances between cities, and they need to be unloaded and loaded quickly to keep the business running smoothly.
You may also assist with the loading and offloading of cargo from local delivery vehicles when required. This means you must be ready to help wherever help is needed.
Cleanliness plays a very important part in logistics operations. You will be expected to help keep the warehouse and work areas clean, neat, and organised. A clean area is not only professional, but it is also safer and more efficient to work in.
This includes picking up waste, arranging items properly, and making sure that the environment is suitable for work at all times.
This is a nightshift position, which means you will be working when most people are sleeping.
Your normal working hours will be:
Monday to Friday: 17h00 – 03h00
