Location: South Africa

Two Rivers Platinum Mine is now accepting applications for its Mining Learnership Program. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable skills and qualifications in the mining industry.

Responsibilities:

Comply with the South African Qualification Act.
Follow the Mine Health and Safety Act and its regulations.
Adhere to the Quality Council for Trades and Occupation (QCTO) requirements.
Complete all Mine Qualification Authority (MQA) unit standards as part of the Registered Learnership Qualification.
Work towards obtaining a Blasting Certificate of Competence issued by the DMR (Department of Mineral Resources).

Minimum Qualifications:

Academic Requirement: Grade 10 or equivalent.
Certificates: Competent A & B Certificates are mandatory.
Additional Qualification: Mining Operations Level 2 Certificate or a statement of results.
Proficiency in English and Numeracy.

Minimum Experience:

At least 1 year of experience as a Mining Crew Captain.
3 years of experience in mechanized mining is essential.
