Uplands College Intern 2025

Uplands is an Anglican, innovative, co-educational, independent school located on an extensive estate in White River, close to the Kruger Park. We are committed to providing quality education to day- and boarding pupils from Grade 0000 to 12.

Uplands is a member of the Independent Schools Association of Southern Africa (ISASA) and the Anglican Board of Education of South Africa (ABESA) and offers examinations set by the Independent Examination Board (IEB).
Uplands College seeks to appoint an energetic, enthusiastic and innovative Intern.

Requirements:

Will be in their 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of studies or student studying towards a BED, PGCE or other relevant qualification at a South African university.
Must provide proof of their year-end examination results
Should be able to work collaboratively with others to achieve various goals and objectives.
Must be able to assist in the classroom as well as being able to coach various sports.
Experience working in an ISASA school and IEB curriculum.
Will participate in a full-day academic, sporting, cultural, pastoral and boarding programme.
Previous boarding experience will be advantageous.
Must be a South African Citizen.
Have a clear Criminal Clearance Certificate.

Uplands will be able to assist with study fees (capped amount), pay a small stipend and offer single board and lodging.

Commencement date: 01 January 2025
