Job Description:

The purpose of this role is to support the warehouse team in all aspects of operations. As a General Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for:

• Sorting and placing materials in designated areas.
• Organizing and storing products in predetermined sequences.
• Utilizing material handling equipment such as forklifts and performing other duties including housekeeping.
• Maintaining daily inventory records using a computerized system.
• Assisting in preparing picklists for production.
• Performing regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and report findings.
• Helping to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
• Ensuring Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed.
• Handling and organizing warehouse materials.
• Moving materials into correct locations and offloading trucks.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Grade 12.
• At least 5 years of warehouse experience; experience in pharmaceuticals is a plus.
• Forklift license.
• Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.
• Ability to operate an electrical walk-behind pallet jack.
