What You’ll Be Doing

As a Virgin Active Sales Consultant, your day will be filled with exciting challenges and meaningful interactions. You’ll be responsible for:

  • Planning your daily and monthly goals to generate new leads, book appointments, and present to potential clients.
  • Following Virgin Active’s sales processes and systems, ensuring all activities are recorded correctly.
  • Understanding Virgin Active products and services and knowing how they compare with competitors.
  • Expanding the customer base by developing relationships and maintaining strong connections with existing clients.
  • Identifying each member’s needs and interests to offer personalized fitness solutions.
  • Overcoming objections and closing sales with the support of your Sales Manager or Regional Coach.
  • Analyzing sales data to plan and improve future results.
  • Participating in team meetings to share ideas, best practices, and new strategies to boost sales.
  • Representing Virgin Active at community events, promotions, and corporate wellness days as a proud brand ambassador.

Your main goal is to promote Virgin Active as the preferred fitness destination while ensuring every potential member feels inspired to take action.


What You’ll Need to Qualify

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to meet the following minimum requirements:

  • Matric qualification (Grade 12) – Essential
  • Tertiary qualification in Sales or Marketing – Preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in the sales industry
  • Strong sales and promotion skills with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan daily activities and manage time effectively
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage all types of customers
  • Must be customer-focused, polite, confident, and professional
  • Ability to analyze market trends and sales data
  • Must understand sales budgets and ratios
  • Ability to follow company systems and processes with precision
