Who Can Apply?

To be accepted into the Vodacom Youth Academy IT Learnership 2025, you must meet the following simple criteria:

• Have a Matric Certificate with:
  • English (1st or 2nd language)
  • Maths or Maths Literacy
  • Business Studies and Physical Science (preferred subjects)
• Must be between 18 and 34 years old
• Unemployed
• Must live near one of the listed Vodacom ICT centres
• Must not have received ICT training like this before
• Must not be receiving any other bursary or funding
• Must be from a disadvantaged background (learners from Quintile 1-3 schools will be prioritised)
• Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID

Important: If you do not disclose everything truthfully, you will be disqualified.

Where Will the Training Take Place?

Vodacom has several ICT Centres across South Africa. You must live near one of these centres to qualify. These centres are located in:

1. Gauteng – Soweto, Attredgeville
2. North West – Ganyesa
3. Mpumalanga – Emalahleni
4. Eastern Cape – Lady Frere
5. KwaZulu-Natal – Umlazi (Berea)
6. Western Cape – Worcester
7. Limpopo – Vhembe
8. Free State – Thaba Nchu
9. Northern Cape – Kimberley
