Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain special tools, equipment, and work environment in a neat and organized state.
• Issue special tools to workshop personnel and maintain accurate records of their use.
• Follow up on tools not returned and arrange tools on tool boards with proper documentation.
• Control and inventory special tools, lifting equipment, and safety equipment, ensuring compliance with legislation and Volvo procedures.

• Manage and maintain the warranty and claims store, ensuring proper labelling and storage of parts.
• Create and promote a safety culture within the branch, ensuring that all equipment complies with safety standards.
• Ensure timely removal of scrap and used oil according to local regulations.
• Maintain a supplier list and assist in stock control and inventory management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: Matric (Grade 12)
• Certification: Health and Safety certification
• Experience: Storekeeping or related experience in a similar environment.

Key Competencies:

• Ability to understand and follow instructions.
• Strong communication skills, both with colleagues and management.
• High levels of reliability, honesty, and organization.
• Basic planning, organizing, and administrative abilities.
• Excellent quality control skills and attention to detail.
