WBHO’s 2026 In-Service Training is designed to prepare future engineers, quantity surveyors, and construction specialists for success. The programme combines classroom knowledge with practical on-site training, helping you develop the confidence and skills needed to work in demanding real-life projects.

If you’ve completed your studies or are currently finishing your in-service requirement, WBHO offers the perfect platform to gain experience while working on projects that matter. Available Training Opportunities

There are two main categories for the 2026 in-service training:

1. University / University of Technology Graduates (3 Positions)

  • Fields: Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering
  • Qualification Needed: P1 & P2 or a 240-credit qualification
  • Duration: 12 months (In-Service / Work Integrated Learning – WIL)

2. TVET College (NATED) Students (3 Positions)

  • Field: Civil Engineering
  • Duration: 18 months (In-Service / WIL)

This setup ensures that both university and college students have equal chances to benefit from the program. Whether you’re working toward your P1 & P2 or completing your TVET in-service requirements, WBHO gives you the platform to learn from experts and grow professionally.

Who Can Apply

To qualify for this programme, applicants must be South African students who are currently completing or have completed the academic portion of their studies in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying. You must also meet the academic and institutional requirements for work-integrated learning.
