Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Be Doing Every Day

Binning Duties:

• Put new stock in the correct bins as it comes in.
• Move items from bulk storage to smaller picking areas.
• Make sure bin labels are correct and updated when stock moves.
• Help with keeping track of stock and bin numbers.
• Receive and check incoming goods to make sure everything is correct.

Picking and Packing:

• Pick customer and branch orders quickly and correctly before cut-off times.
• Only take stock from bulk bins if there’s no more in the picking area.
• Help prevent damaged stock by picking carefully and correctly.
• Double-check orders before they go out to avoid mistakes.
• Follow company procedures to keep customers happy.
• Help with stock-taking activities when needed.
• Make sure your work area stays clean and organized.

Scanner Control:

• Hand out scanners to operators at the start of the shift.
• Record who uses which scanner using an app.
• Check scanners for damage when they are returned.
• Report any damage to your supervisor immediately.
• Keep a daily log of scanner use.

What You Need to Qualify

• Grade 12 certificate (or equivalent in literacy and numeracy).
• At least 3 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics setting (this is preferred, not required).
