Key Responsibilities

As a Store Manager, your daily tasks will include:

Sales and Performance

Boost Sales: Promote and drive sales to achieve and exceed store targets.
Expense Control: Manage store expenses to ensure profitability aligns with business goals.

Stock and Resource Management

Stock Control: Manage inventory efficiently to maintain the stock loss benchmark.
Resource Utilization: Use store resources effectively to enhance productivity and meet store objectives.

Leadership and Training

Team Leadership: Lead and manage the team, ensuring they are motivated and well-trained.
Policy Implementation: Act as the custodian of company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and high standards.
Staff Development: Assume accountability for training and developing store staff to ensure they meet performance expectations.

Customer Service

Customer Experience: Ensure all customer interactions deliver an above-average level of service, enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Store Maintenance

Hygiene Standards: Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of the store and staff, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and company standards.

What We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

Qualifications

Matric/Grade 12: A matric certificate is required, with Mathematics being advantageous.

Experience

Retail Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a Store Management or Assistant Store Manager role, preferably in a similar retail environment.

Skills

Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills are essential.
Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to manage and inspire a team.
Business Acumen: A solid understanding of retail operations and sales strategies.
