🎯 What You’ll Be Doing – Key Responsibilities:
As the Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in keeping the store operating like a well-oiled machine. Here’s what your day-to-day may look like:
- Support the Store Manager in daily operations and ensure store targets are met.
- Manage stock losses and shrinkage to meet company goals.
- Drive sales performance to hit daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
- Keep the store looking visually appealing and on-brand.
- Control store expenses efficiently.
- Deliver top-tier customer service and build a loyal customer base.
- Oversee staff recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Run daily, weekly, and monthly checklists to keep everything in order.
- Ensure staff follow company policies and procedures.
- Conduct hanger counts, service desk checks, and fitting room checks to ensure retail standards are met.
🎓 Qualifications & Experience Needed:
📘 Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification
💼 Work Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience managing a fashion retail store
- Proven track record of store performance and team leadership
