✅ Minimum Requirements to Apply:

This job involves a mix of kitchen work, cleaning, and helping with meal delivery in hospitals. Here’s what a typical workday may look like:

🍲 Food Preparation:

• Prepare and cook standard meals and therapeutic meals using specific recipes.
• Use a blender to make soft or liquid foods for patients who need special diets.
• Portion and plate meals as needed.
• Label food containers properly for each ward.
• Pack and push food carts to and from different hospital wards.

🧼 Cleaning Duties:

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils.
• Clean the kitchen work areas, including floors, ovens, and tables.
• Handle and clean dishwashers after use.
• Empty trash bins and collect waste regularly.
• Follow a strict cleaning schedule to keep everything hygienic.
• Clean food trolleys after every meal session.

🍴 Food Service:

• Set up trays with cutlery, condiments, and utensils.
• Place correct food portions on trays based on patients’ diet lists.
• Check trays before sending them out to ensure they’re complete.
• Provide clean crockery and utensils during mealtime.
• Help pack food in the storerooms.

🛠️ Other Duties:

• Report any damaged equipment or issues in the Food Service Unit (FSU).
• Assist with inventory control and supply monitoring.
• Take care of general duties as assigned by your supervisor.
