What Will You Be Doing?

Your main focus will be supporting all the activities in the shipping department. You’ll assist with getting products ready to ship, managing stock, and supporting daily operations on the shipping floor. Teamwork and attention to detail are super important here.

Your daily tasks might include:

• Handling and moving bales with the “Breekspan” machine safely and properly.
• Helping unload bales from trucks during cross hauling activities.
• Pulling bales from the stacking area and putting unused ones back in order.
• Keeping the work area clean and safe by doing general housekeeping.
• Reporting any problems or differences in production to your supervisor quickly.
• Being flexible to work overtime or shifts as needed.
• Taking on other tasks given by supervisors or plant managers to keep things running smoothly.

What Skills and Qualifications Do You Need?

BKB wants reliable and hardworking people who can stay focused and work well with others. Here’s what they’re looking for:

• A school qualification between Grade 10 and Grade 12.
• Between 1 and 2 years of work experience in a wool warehouse is a big plus.
• Some experience in a shipping department helps but isn’t essential.

• Ability to keep calm and stay productive under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of how a warehouse operates.
