What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
This is a fast-paced role that requires someone who is organized, calm under pressure, and confident handling a variety of tasks at once. Your duties will include:
1. Front Desk & Customer Service Duties:
- Answer incoming calls quickly and professionally
- Greet walk-in visitors warmly and direct them where they need to go
- Handle general queries or pass them on to the right team members
- Take and email messages to staff members as needed
- Keep track of customer concerns and escalate if no response is received within 30 minutes
- Use the Bluespec online system to check progress and give updates to customers
- Assist in scheduling branch drivers and make sure all daily tasks are completed
- Be dressed neatly and follow the company’s uniform policy
2. Bookings Support:
- Call customers to confirm appointments one day before arrival
- Follow up with customers once authorisation is received to schedule their vehicle booking
You’ll be a key support person, helping the office stay organized and customers feel cared for.
What You Need to Apply
Education:
- Matric / Grade 12 is required
Experience:
- At least 2 years’ experience working as a receptionist
- Experience in the motor or insurance industry is a plus
Skills:
- Confident using a switchboard phone system
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
